Fate sighed; sometimes it was very hard for her to tell her visions, her dreams, and her reality apart.  Everything mixed in a blur of noise and color, in a place where time no longer mattered, and neither did normal laws.  Sometimes she would wake from slumber, sweating and panting, wondering, if it was a nightmare, or, if it was another vision yet to come true.  As she lay, asleep in Dymytur’s strong arms, she walked a realm of her dreams.  There was a girl, staring back at her, if she had not seen the girl’s eyes; she would have thought she was a younger version of herself.  Fate gazed silently at the childish portrait of herself, the girl was laughing, eyes closed, pale hands pressed against her stomach, her head thrown back, her white hair blowing behind her in an invisible wind, her small child’s dress billowing out around her.  Slowly her laughter calmed into small bursts and peals of giggles, slowly she turned her eyes to Fate, Fate started and stared, the girl had blood red eyes that seemed to be able to destroy everything, eyes that didn’t care if she killed one or thousands of people, and suddenly she grinned, showing off a pair of sharp, pointing fangs……… Fate sat up with a gasp, the child had been so real, so concrete, that she could not possibly be a dream, perhaps she was a vision?  Fate pressed a hand over her rapidly beating heart and tried to calm herself.  Dymytur stirred and slowly began to wake up, blinking bleary eyes at her partner, she asked in a worried voice,
“Fate, sweetie, what’s wrong?  Are you okay?”  She sat up, wrapping her arms tightly around the girl, who smiled and relaxed into the hold, and before Dymytur got her answers, Fate was asleep.  Dymytur chuckled lightly and rested her head on top of Fate’s, as she as well fell asleep.

At breakfast, Fate was silent, staring at her plate of food, not even wanting to touch it, not that she actually really realized that she had food.  She was trapped in her visions, in the past, in the future, trying to decipher what was the present, as she saw the actions of everyone and everything, every little decision, she saw what people in Russia, Australia, even Zimbabwe, what everybody was doing, what was in the past, their future, their present.  And all throughout the day she was bombarded with all of her visions, but they had changed from what they normally were, now around every bend she saw the little girl, dancing and laughing, spinning and swirling, sometimes she had animals following in her wake, sometimes flames, sometimes death and destruction, and even sometimes joy and utter happiness.  Fate saw that girl everywhere; it was almost as if she were part of Fate, part of her soul that she didn’t know she had lost.  At dinner, as Fate rubbed her temples, trying to dispel the ever-growing headache, she was pulled up gently, and led away by Dymytur.  Once in their bedroom, Dymytur smiled and thrust a steaming mug into the girl’s hands, Fate wrinkled her nose but downed it, ignoring the burning as it seared her throat.  Immediately she began to feel better, Dymytur was very extremely skilled in herbal medicines and remedies and other handy survival techniques that helped with most common ailments.  And even though the brew was horrendous, and Fate wanted to strangle whoever decided to design the herbs and make them so utterly atrocious, it helped her headaches tremendously.  Fate grinned up at her lover, the other girl smiled back as well, taking the now empty cup out of the girl’s hands and setting it on the small bedside table.  She smiled and leaned forwards, kissing Fate upon the lips.  Fate shivered slightly when Dymytur began running her slender hands along Fate’s sides, caressing her curves and waist.  Dymytur pulled back slightly, and kissed Fate’s nose, then her cheeks, then both of her closed, trembling eyelids, then her forehead, her chin, and slowly began kissing down the side of her neck.  Fate moaned quietly, reaching upwards as she buried her fingers in Dymytur’s silken black hair.  Dymytur grinned, and gently pressed Fate down onto the soft mattress.  Fate blushed deeply, as she gazed up at her girlfriend; she gasped and moaned when Dymytur’s hand slid down beneath her skirt.  Dymytur groaned and leaned forward, pressing her lips against Fate’s neck, inhaling the girl’s scent, god, and her scent! It was like a drug, so addicting, yet Dymytur could never get enough of it.  She warred with herself, mentally at a loss as to what to do, how to control herself, or, if even she wanted to control herself.  She sighed, as she decided suddenly, that she may as well enjoy every moment.  She was getting far tired of being good all of the time, just once; she would like to do something to appease her thirst, her hunger for Fate’s delicious blood.  Parting her lips, she licked Fate’s skin once, twice, three times, before gently, as easily as she could, slipping her fangs into the soft flesh.  Fate groaned, the pain soon turning to pleasure, as she held tightly onto Dymytur’s arms, clutching the sleeves tightly.  Dymytur smiled and slowly pulled away, licking away the small trickle of blood, her tongue gently healing the small puncture wound until it was nothing more than a small red scar.  Dymytur pushed herself up, so that she could look into Fate’s eyes, the girl stared back in curiosity.  It was that night, when the lay asleep, together, in bed, that Fate began having the same dream, something that turned from a dream, to a nightmare, so that Fate was lost, dazed and confused, in her realm of dreams, reality, and visions.  One day, and for several days afterwards, Fate was assaulted by one vision, and one vision only, her, only one thing different, she was pregnant.  And in each vision, though some things altered, that one factor never changed, was always so concrete and perfectly clear, that she knew for a fact, she was going to be a Mother, she was going to get pregnant, but how?  Though, little did she know, she was actually already pregnant, just not showing, she had been pregnant ever since that night that she and Dymytur slept together, the night that Dymytur drank the sweet blood, gave a little bit of herself over to Fate.  Fate didn’t know how to tell Dymytur, didn’t know how to prevent this child from happening, so frightened was she that she would get impregnated by some random man, she was terrified of hurting Dymytur, so she kept her visions a secret, not knowing herself that she was pregnant.  But soon she found out, took a pregnancy test, as a requirement of all of the female students and staff, and to her great shock, it came back positive.  That frightened her even more, she hadn’t slept with anyone but Dymytur, and, obviously, they were both female, and, for quite obvious reasons, could not conceive a child! Right?  Well, Fate was just about to find out just how wrong she was.  Dymytur sat silently reading, lying on her side on the large bed.  She looked up when she heard the door open, and grinned, setting her book carefully aside, she stood and walked over to where Fate stood motionless, and embraced the girl.  When Fate didn’t hug back, didn’t respond in any way shape or form, Dymytur pulled back with a puzzled, worried frown,
“Fate?  What’s wrong?  Are you okay?  Fate, please answer me.”  Fate looked up, face drawn and pale, almost anguished, and held up the small white application stick.  Dymytur just took it and stared at it, not really understanding what it was, she looked at Fate for an explanation and was shocked to see the girl openly sobbing.
“Oh honey, what’s wrong?”  Dymytur asked, hugging the girl, but was shocked when she was pushed away,
“I’m so sorry!  But I swear to you!  I swear that I have never slept with anyone but you!  Oh, I am so sorry!”
“Fate, what are you talking about?”  Dymytur asked calmly,
“I’m pregnant!”  The girl shouted, sobbing all the harder, Dymytur stared, and raised a brow,
“But, isn’t that normally a good thing?”
“Yes! But I don’t want to lose you!  I don’t know how I got pregnant, you’re a girl!”  She wailed in despair and covered her face with her hands.  Dymytur chuckled, pulling her upset lover into strong arms,
“Don’t worry Fate; don’t cry, please, why would you lose me because you’re pregnant?  Why would I reject you when……” She paused, placing her hand gently on Fate’s still flat stomach, smiling gently, “The child is mine.”  Fate’s eyes widened, and suddenly it all became too much for her to bear, as she suddenly found the floor rushing upwards to greet her.  Dymytur easily caught the girl, and stared in shock, before gently placing her on the bed.  Slowly Fate came to, and when she did, the first thing she did was sit up in shock, and demand,
“You?!”  Dymytur chuckled, and nodded,
“Yes, didn’t you know?  Female vampires, their fangs aren’t venomous, they allow us to conceive children, and so, we can bear as well as conceive.  Male vampires are born with the internal organs of a woman, and if they do become pregnant, they have caesarian births, but they as well can conceive offspring.  It is all with the primal instinct of carrying on and continuing the vampire line, making sure that there are offspring to survive, so our race does not die out and in simpler terms, become extinct.”  Fate could only nod dumbly; her brain seemed to have severed itself from her body.  She couldn’t say anything, or do anything; she didn’t know if she knew what to say is she could say something anyway.  Fate stared at her girlfriend, before it began to slowly sink in; she was pregnant, with…… Dymytur’s child?  She was pregnant with Dymytur’s child!  Grinning foolishly, she flung her arms around Dymytur’s neck, surprising the vampire, who stared in shock, legs locked to keep them both from toppling onto the floor.  Dymytur gently stroked Fate’s long white hair, thinking about things, about how much their lives were about to change.  Babies were a big responsibility, she herself loved children, having helped her Mother with her younger siblings, and she knew just what a baby needed.  And what it needed was nearly a twenty-four hour round-the-clock care taker, lost of food, and other things.  She looked down when she felt Fate shift slightly; the girl was smiling warmly, gently, one hand rubbing gently on her stomach.
“She will be beautiful!  I am so happy!”  She looked up at Dymytur, still smiling, though tears glistened in her eyes, happy tears, and Dymytur wiped them away gently, before kissing the girl’s forehead.
“Come on love, let’s go see professor Alixxander, we can’t do this by ear, we need all of the support and help.”  Fate nodded and agreed, she had no idea what to expect, she had been alone her entire life, her parents having left when she was very small, after finding out she had the power to see the future and past and present.  She held her girlfriend’s hand tightly, now quite afraid of what was to come, she was wonderfully happy she was pregnant, she was just slightly worried about something going wrong because she didn’t know not to do something.  They knocked a few times on the oak door, hearing muffled voices from inside, Dymytur chuckled, and both girls began giggling outright when Alixxander threw open the door, hair mussed, wearing only a pair of black trousers, that were unzipped and unbuttoned.  He blushed slightly, glanced down at himself, slammed the door, and in a few moments opened it again, this time pulling a lab coat closed over his still bare chest.  Behind him stood Nekome, the boy’s head was tilted to the side in curiosity, as he stared around Alixxander.  Alixxander glanced back and rolled his eyes, the boy still hadn’t dressed any further, and he too wore only a pair of unzipped and unbuttoned pants, only they were tan, instead of black.  Suddenly his ears and tail perked when he saw Fate, and he grinned, ducking beneath Alixxander’s arm to hug the girl.  Fate winced and pulled back slightly, not truly pulling away, just putting a bit of distance between her and the easily excited boy, wrapping an arm protectively across her still flat stomach.  Alixxander caught the gesture, smart man he was, and gently tugged Nekome’s tail.  Nekome closed his eyes and bit back a moan, blushing, as he slipped back to stand next to Alixxander.
“What can I do for you, girls?”  Alixxander asked kindly, Dymytur was the one to speak up, Fate still having her mouth clamped shut.
“Actually, do you mind if we came in?  It’s not something we really want to announce just yet.”  Alixxander smiled and nodded, moving back and gesturing them inside.  Both girls walked in, and sat on the couch.  Alixxander’s dorm was like a small apartment, a living room, a kitchen, a small, but functional space, with of course bedroom and bath attached.  He smiled at the two girls sitting side by side on the couch; Nekome was clattering around in the kitchen, fixing tea for everyone.
“So what is it you need?”  He questioned again, watching as Fate’s hand slipped down to her stomach, a soft smile breaking out across her face.  And even though he hadn’t been told, he guessed, and was waiting for his hypothesis to be confirmed.
“Professor, we just need your support.  Fate, well, she’s pregnant, and, the child is mine, we both know, and, well, frankly, I’m not so sure if she’s ready.  She is so young, and, I don’t want her to be in pain, or, for something to happen to her or the baby.”  Dymytur explained, gently, softly, resting her hand on Fate’s stomach, almost as if by just touching Fate’s skin, they would be able to hear the baby, see the baby, be assured that everything would go perfectly, that nothing could or would go wrong.  Alixxander smiled softly and nodded,
“You’re pregnant?!”
